hello everyone! my name is Rachel Victor.
as many of you know... my sister, Angelica Fort, unexpectedly passed yesterday morning (4/25) after/ around 9 am.
Angelica has left behind myself, our mother, her two brothers, sooo many friends, family, etc.
But most importantly, she has left behind a beautiful little boy named Connor, who can light up any room he walks into instantly, just like his mother. Connor will be turning 6 on May 8th.
Angelica was also a survivor of two major heart surgeries. One when she was about 17 to repair a hole in her heart, and an open heart surgery to repair two aortic dissections a few months after having Connor. Unfortunately, baby Connor put too much pressure on her heart while she was pregnant with him, which is what caused the dissections in her heart. As a result, she had to be life flighted to the hospital where she had to undergo an emergency c section.
Ultimately, the internal injuries she has sustained have lead to her tragic death. It has been a long & bumpy road, but she is in a much better place now.. where she may rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord & her father whom she loved so much.
Angelica’s services will be held on Thursday, April 29th @ 6pm and will end at 8pm. **FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY**
A separate service will be held **FOR FAMILY ONLY** on Friday, April 30th starting @ 10:30 am with no designated ending time.
Both services will be held at Robert A Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike Street, Port Carbon, PA 17965.
if you would like to donate through this gofundme, you may. or i will attempt to link the funeral home’s website to this donation page, where you could also donate.
Anything is appreciated at this trying time. Thank you.
