My baby Frankie has been suffering from chronic vomiting and seizures and is now in critical condition at a local Emergency Veterinary. I brought him in with very laboured breathing and he cannot breath without oxygen right now.
I brought him in in February for his first Grand Mal seizure and paid $2300 for them to monitor him for 24 hours and send him home. He was okay up until last weekend when he had another seizure and his breathing issues started.
I’ve paid another $5400 to have him on oxygen and antibiotics as well as some other medications since this past Friday. He seems to be improving but he is still unable to breathe on his own yet. They believe that due to vomiting before or during his seizure he aspirated and it’s caused a severe case of pneumonia.
I’ve been on edge the past 4 days, receiving calls from the emergency clinic saying he’s probably not going to make it through the night and being pressured by multiple Vets to euthanize him. I’m not giving up on him that easy. He just needs some TLC and medication.
I’ve given the vets all of the money that I have to save his little life and now I’ve run out.
I’ve maxed all of my credit cards, my overdraft and my bank account is in the negatives. I tried applying for emergency vet funding and was not approved.
Frankie needs another $4500.00 in testing and procedures to find out what’s causing all of his seizures/vomiting in the first place.
Any amount at all would help SO VERY MUCH and I would be FOREVER grateful. He’s my baby and my best friend!
