Gambit’s Knee Surgery

Hello Everyone,

About a few months ago, we noticed our son, Gambit, limping after laying down for long periods of time. We took him to the vet for x-rays ($500), just about a week ago. The result came back that Gambit tore his cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) in his left rear knee. Come to find out, this is common for older big dogs. The doctor couldn’t advise what caused the tear, but he said it needs to be fixed immediately to prevent any long-term damage.

The first available appointment is June 1st so we scheduled Gambit’s surgical procedure then, hoping we will raise the money to cover this unforeseen issue. The cost ranges between $4,000 - $5,000 with recovery treatment included.

Gambit is a 8yr old lab-retriever mix. He is known to be a friendly and fun-loving dog. He enjoys long walks, long sniffs, eating grass, running, swimming, and is the tug-of-war champion. But most of all, he loves the affection from his parents and the attention from anyone he meets.

If you've ever been greeted by Gambit or just sympathize with the costs of dog surgeries, then please consider donating. Any amount raised from this campaign will be greatly appreciated.
