Sweet Emmy Sue Hegger made her grande debut February 2, 2016. She came into this life early, but ready to fight the many obstacles and challenges that lied ahead. Emmy was born with Achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism. She's a little sassy and full of fire to have her voice heard. She plays by her own rules and is going to change the world someday. Her journey began with weeks in the NICU and oxygen support. There was a brief time spent at home, only to be readmitted into the hospital several more times and is where they currently reside. This strong-willed, baby girl has endured so much in her life thus far. She will have a lifetime of hurdles to overcome. Yet, Natalie and Jeremy, dear friends, face life's unexpected curveball with their precious girl with the most humble and gracious attitude. They are so inspiring. Each day, focused and determined on getting Emmy healthy and exactly where she needs to be, building the very best medical team, and aligning the tools to enrich success for her future. They are holding down the home front as teammates and amazing parents to also 2 sweet boys and incredibly loving big brothers. I am asking that we come together for our friends/family and help relieve some of the financial stress for their family. Hospital stays, medical bills and surgeries will be lifelong for Emmy.
