My name is Torria Williams. I am an aspiring Physician Assistant on a journey to participate in a medical internship abroad. This internship includes a week long experience in La Romana, Dominican Republic in which I will be able to care for the needs of the under-served people. As an intern, I will gain first-hand clinical experience while receiving a well-rounded perspective on global health. Being that I will be applying to Physician Assistant School next cycle, this opportunity will expand my possibilities as a PA , along with memories that I will cherish forever. As a good friend once told me ," Stop worrying about what you have to lose and start focusing on what you have to gain." As a young woman with ambitious dreams I want to be a reflection for other young ladies fighting for their future.
