Climbing Kilimanjaro for JBFC
Donation protected
This summer in late July a group of Brunswick boys (Brendan Forst, Dayton Kingery, Charles Knight, Christian LeSueur, Nate Stuart, Kieran Dowley, Matthew Womble, and Ryan Hanrahan) will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. These 8 Boys along with two teachers from Brunswick will be hiking the 19,341 ft summit in order to raise money for the JBFC (The Janada L. Batchelor Foundation for Children) orphanage in Tanzania. It is an all girls orphanage with roughly 49 girls ranging anywhere from 5-18 years old. The foundation also currently runs a school with about 400 students. Our group of is trying to raise enough money to sponsor and buy new solar panels for the girls and help them reach their goal of becoming a completely self-sustainable orphanage and school. Our goal is to raise a penny for every foot we walk which would be a total of $193.41. For any amount of money you are willing to pledge we would be incredibly grateful.
Thank You.
