I am starting this fund raiser for my really good friends Scott and Laura Gehr and their precious little girl Callie. They are the most gracious hard working people I know. They had a beautiful little girl Callie 3 months ago, she was premature and she has been struggling to gain weight since birth. A few weeks ago they found out that she has a heart defect. The Dr's were hoping that she would grow out of it. Unfortunately she took a turn for the worst on 4/19/21, was admitted to the pediatric ICU on 4/20/21 and had emergency surgery today 4/21/21 to try to fix her heart defect. The surgery went well but only time will tell if it was successful.
With multiple Dr's appt a week for the unforeseeable future (cardiologist, GI, Pediatric, Genetics), missed work, Mom's in ability to return to work, child care cost for Callie's brother (Gunnar) and sister (Makena), hospital expenses and so many other things, we are asking for any help you can offer to this wonderful family.
