Barb Lasher is a beloved neighbor and friend that was suddenly stricken with a bacteria infection to her eyes called ACanthamoeba. This infection could potentially cause devasting consequences to her vision BUT with prayer and petition to God she can overcome this illness. 
            Barb spends much of her day in a position with her head down without any vision in both eyes and a constant sensation of strobbing lights. The doctor has said this could last 9 months-- the diagnose is without a definite conclusion. Joe, her husband, makes multiple trips to the doctor with Barb each week.  The pharmacy costs, medical visits and WillsEye Hospital parking (over $30 a visit sometimes multiple times per week!) incur additional financal demands to the family on top of the emotional and obvious strain resulting from the illlness. 
            I would like you to join with me in prayer for Barb Lasher and her family and, if you are inclined, financially contribute to this funding source to support the medical costs to care for Barb. 
            The family has not solicited for help but this action resulted from an update on Barbara's status and concern. Barb is an employee of Drexel University College of Medicine.
