I ASK IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP WITH ANYTHING THAT YOU CAN EITHER MAKE DONATIONS ON HERE TO HELP PAY FOR DADDYS FUNERAL, OR HELP MY MOMMA AS DADDY WAS HER SOLE PROVIDER AND SHE WILL NOT GET ANY OF HIS CHECK. OR YOU CAN CALL LITTLE WARD FUNERAL IN COMMERCE GA, OR MAIL IT TO MOMMA. WE ALL ARE GONNA STICK TOGETHER AND TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER. My dad has been sick for a few years now but last Sunday(6/26/16). I got a phone call saying my dad had stopped breathing. I run down to there house and found my dad unresponsive, he had no pulse and not breathing. I started chest compression and didnt stop til emts arrived. They took dad to athens regional where dad was then put on the ventilator and sent to icu to be treated. They told us his co2 levels were good and they couldnt figure out what was going on. Later they came and told us he had a very bad infection in his blood called sepsis. They started antibotics and had daddy on fuilds and other neds to help him get better. They moved him to icu and got him stable and ready for us to come into the room to be with him. At 12:30 they began to tell my mom that his stats were stable and looked good, at 12:36 pm dads heart stopped and they began cpr, finally he came back and they said they didnt know how he would be or do after he came to if he came to. Monday morning at 530am he started waking up and decided he wanted the ventilator out of him. They slowly started taking him off of it and turned it over to the bipap machine. He finally was able to take the tubes out and breath on his own with 15 liters of oxygen. He is now home with hospice and there plan is to keep him as comfortable as possible. DADDY IS IN REALLY BAD SHAPE NOW. WE TOOK HIM OFF HOSPICE TODAY TO TAKE HIM TO HAVE HIS LEG SEEN ABOUT AND THE DOCTORS SAID DADDY ISNT STRONG ENOUGH TO MAKE IT THRU SURGERY.  IF HE DID MAKE IT THRU THAT HIS LEG HAS NO BLOOD FLOW SO IT WOULDNT HEAL. DADDY SAID HE JUST WANTED TO COME HOME AND BE PEACEFUL HERE! SO WE ARE NOW HOME AND HOSPICE IS BACK OUT HERE AND THEY ARE GONNA HAVE TO KEEP DADDY SEMI SEDATED IN ORDER TO KEEP DADDY OUTTA PAIN. HE IS PITIFUL. HIS LEG IS DEAD ON HIS BODY AND IS GETTING WORSE BY THE DAY. HE STAYS IN PAIN. AT THIS POINT ITS JUST TIME FOR DADDY TO REST AND WAIT FOR THE GOOD LORD TO CALL HIM HOME. THIS IS THE HARDEST THING WE'VE EVER DONE BEFORE. PLEASE JUST KEEP US ALL IN YOUR PRAYERS. WE LOVE YOU ALL AND JUST KNOW DADDY LOVES YOU ALL AND APPRECIATES YOU ALL HELPING!! THANK YOU ALL!
