Help! I'm 16 years old, and a native to North Carolina. I have never been to New York City, but this year, I have been given a once in a lifetime opportunity. I was one of 16 students world-wide to be accepted into NYU Tisch's Summer High School- Experimental Theatre Workshop at the ETW. The workshop is a 4-week residential program on the NYU campus in New York City, I would be earning 6 NYU college credits while learning techniques by the great Jerzy Grotowski and Stanislavsky, under the tutelage of the expert faculty of NYU's Experimental Theatre Wing.

I have been performing in community theatre here in NC my whole life, and this opportunity is nothing short of a dream come true. However, tuition/housing costs add up to nearly $10,000 and must be paid in full by the end of June 2013. There is no way that I will be able to attend without a lot of help... But I believe that this is possible and I am working as hard as I can to get there! I am working to organize a local performance gala to raise funds for tuition, as well as seeking outside sponsorships, but I am reaching out to you, hoping that you can help me out.
