Our home church is Austin Ridge Bible Church. (http://www.austinridge.org/)  It's strange that a church can feel like a home to us, but it does. Stranger still that this comes up with our recent wedding and we thought about "wedding gifts". A few excerpts from Austin Ridge's Purpose webpage will shed some light about this:

"LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE ...we are working to create a community of imperfect people that give to others what they have been given by God... We love God. We love each other and we love our community. We don't always do it perfectly, but our prayer is that we will love more today than yesterday and more tomorrow than today." 

We are an imperfect, but blessed couple. As we thought about all the "stuff" that we have in merging our lives together, plus the monthly rental of a storage unit, we were hard pressed to come up with anything we might need that we weren't already doing just fine without.

Meanwhile, our application with Austin Ridge for a service trip has been approved: 9 days serving in the  Dominican Republic working with their summer school program, ESL classes and helping with a soccer camp. That total trip cost for the two of us is $3,200. Our hearts are in the right place, but we need your help to get there.
