For my birthday and Christmas present this year, what would bring me the most happiness is a hearing aide. Several years ago I was diagnosed with  Otosclerosis ‌ which is the cause of my hearing loss.  Without a hearing aide, I am deaf in my left ear. It has started to affect my day to day life and the lives of my family, so it is time for an improvement. Hearing aides are expensive, and strangely enough, are not covered by insurance, so I would like to channel all my future small gifts into this one big special gift that I know will make a huge difference.
