My mother and grandmother recently lost their home and pets in a tragic house fire. At this time my grandmother is estimating at least $100,000 in damages, however it hasn't been assessed by a professional yet. Most of the furniture has been destroyed, the kitchen is gone, and all the drywall is damaged beyond repair. There's also an untold amount of personal belongings that have been lost.

According to my grandmother she had unfortunately let her home owners insurance lapse just a few weeks prior due to financial difficulties. Additionally, the house is not paid off, so she still owes money on the mortgage. At this time the American Red Cross is helping them with a place to stay and funds but of course that is not a permanent situation. Any amount that you can donate to help would be appreciated.
