My name is Rosanne Christie I am a family friend who wants to raise money to help Anna and her family.
A dear family close to us has had to face large costs for a huge surgery for their young daughter...
Anna Elder is 11 years old and was born with Spina bifida . They live in Lacombe, Alberta.
She is the youngest of four children of Chris & Emily Elder. She’s had to undergo huge spinal surgery in the last two weeks and she has a long recovery ahead of her. There are many medical costs accrued and even a new wheel for her wheel chair is $500.00 which she needs. Anna is such an inspiration to us all. She’s so talented in her music ability and loves to play the piano and sing! She’s so brave and sweet. Emily Elder is her mum who is such an amazing mother but can’t lift Anna anymore so they will be facing significant expenses. One huge expense is to modify / renovate the main floor bathroom accomodating Anna's mobility post surgery. Emily is very involved in the community teaching drama and music in Lacombe at The Chamberlain’s Children. (Lacombe Express) Producing incredible plays bringing talent to the stage. Also needed is a special bike that would enable Anna to join her peers and siblings.
I ask if any of you can help this family, I know they would appreciate it immensely . I plan on going up to Lacombe this next week so if any would like to make a meal I’m happy to connect and take them up! I’m going to tag a few friends who I’m sure would want to help in some way!
