The week leading up to the 4th of July 5 year old Lillian Day suffered a severe asthma attack. She was initially seen at Exeter hospital and sent home with mom and dad. Her condition failed to improve and Lillian returned to EH. She took a turn for the worse and was transported to Children's Hospital in Boston with her mother by her side. She currently remains intubated and on a ventilator in the MICU. She's unaware of what is going on, as doctors have been keeping her sedated. Lilly is very sick right now. She's listed in critical condition and is going to have a huge hill to climb on her road to recovery. Her parents, Dave and Sarah Day are also mom and dad to Lilly's big sister Kaylyn and little sister Olivia. To complicate things further 2 days after Lilly suffered her asthma attack Olivia was sent to Childrens with pneumonia. They're a family of 5 working on one income right now and trying to shuffle three children in two different states is taking a toll on them. Financially, and emotionally. Children's hospital is about 50 miles from their hometown. Although the family does have medical coverage the co-pays for Lilly and Olivia to be transported from NH to Boston with the specialized respiratory transport team are going to be extremely high. They're also going to need to cover the co-pay's for the stay (however long they may be) in Boston, and the cost of constant commuting so that Lilly and Olivia can feel the love of their family around them. Please lift the Day family up with prayer and support as they endure this battle together. And please, #prayForTheDayGirls
