Hello my friends! We all have people in and out of our lives, but there are a few that you meet that you know are truly great and would move mountains for you without question. Well one those people in my life just told me today that he is now battling kidney cancer   AND tumors on his pancreas. My friend’s name is Rick Lampkin and many of you may already know him and know he has been fighting his share of medical issues that forced Rick out of work many years ago, and he is strong making a great fight! We want Rick and Melissa to know that he has touched many lives and we are here to fight with him. With how everything has unfolded within our healthcare system the battle Rick and Melissa face is not just physical and emotional but now extremely financial as well. We use to live in a time where if you were covered by insurance you could focus on just getting better, that is no longer the case. I know in my family this will touch our hearts for my mother is a breast cancer survivor and I am sure many of you out there know someone who is a survivor or someone who fought the good fight but could not overcome. I know how tough Rick is and I feel confident he will beat this, in fact he already has because in the face of this today he wanted to talk about what is going on in my life and as always said if there is anything he can do, if there is a mountain to move, just ask!
