Robert’s Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Zoë, I’m the human at the end of Robert the Greyhounds leash.
Robert is a 9 year old Greyhound, well known in his local community and across the “Cult of the Greyhound” world for his advocacy work, adventures and quirky personality. We recently received the heartbreaking diagnosis of Osteosarcoma, a bone cancer that is unfortunately very common for Greyhounds.
As we’ve managed to catch the cancer early, Robert is a great candidate for amputation, and should recover smoothly from surgery to continue his adventures and work promoting Greyhounds as the amazing pets they are, minus one leg of course!
I hate to ask for financial help, however the cost of living crisis, combined with poor timing has really caught us off guard for the medical bills and supports needed to ensure a smooth transition from four to three legs. Time is of the essence with this type of cancer, and the sooner we can proceed with treatment, the better the outcome will be.
I understand this is a very financially challenging time for everyone, so every euro counts. To all those who have followed Robert’s journey so far, thank you for the support and love ye have shown us to date.
Love and Licks,
Zoë & Robert Xxx
