Limke Family House Fire
Donation protected
Hi family and friends. First off, thank you all so much for your support, texts, calls, concern and prayers during this very difficult time for my sister and her beautiful family. It has meant the world to our family. It is crazy how fast your life can turn upside down in an instant. Although the Limke family has lost their home and everything inside it but a couple items salvaged, we are so very thankful that no one was harmed. God has spared 6 lives amazing lives in my mind.
For those that don't know the story, on Friday July 1st, my sister, Kristin, her husband, Bryan, and their 4 kiddos set out for Concan for the holiday weekend. Two hours later they got a call that their house was on fire.

Needless to say, everyone was in disbelief as my sister rushed back home while firefighters began trying to put out the flames. The fire burned on for almost 8 hours leaving their home in a state they could never imagine.

Material things are material things and can be replaced but it was the memories, pictures, great grandparents antiques, diplomas and such that can never be replaced and that my sister finds the most heartache from. With time, they will be able to rebuild again and this will one day be a horrible memory of the past.

Until then, I have started this GoFundMe account because there are gobs upon gobs of you wanting to help and we are so grateful. It is going to be a rough road for quite some time for them. All their furniture, beds, mattresses, clothing, shoes, basic kitchen utensils, towels, linens, pots, pans, toiletries, iron, toys, and things we take for granted to be there every day are simply all gone. There's nothing left. No washer. No fridge. No stove. No dryer. No couch. No tables. Nada. This is one way we can help ease the pain. By providing them a starting point until they can find a new temporary home. I hope to hit the goal of $5,000. Just enough to get what they need until insurance and all kicks in, which will greatly help cover some of these costs. If you can find it in your hearts to help, please do. We are beyond grateful and appreciate every penny. If you have any new or gently used items that you may find helpful for the family of six, please contact me (Kalen) through phone or Facebook messenger. I will gladly pick items up and get to them. If you would like to ship or mail any items, you can send to my address and I will deliver to them as well. (Please message for details). For now, we are so very thankful everyone is alive and well and beyond words of appreciation for all the love, support, and prayers you have poured into to my sister and her family. It means so much to us as they begin to heal and recover from this horrible loss. Thank you again!
