My sister Mignon needs your help. She was born with a disability, and those of you who went to school with me know that she has struggled throughout her entire life. She has a sweet spirit though, and endears herself to others around her.

She is in a wheelchair and requires help with daily living and care. Until recently, her care was funded via income received to a trust while renting out our childhood home. Due to a tenant who reneged on the rent and damaged the house, we find ourselves in a position of no income while the house is being repaired. As well as incurring further debt for those repairs.

Her sisters have all contributed to paying what we can toward her care and trying to catch up on her back medical bills, but with this setback we are beyond being able to afford to do it.

We are desperately seeking a new living situation for her, but in the meantime the situation has become urgent.

Please know that this is not for the house repairs, we are taking out a loan to do that. This is ONLY for her care.

Any help from compassionate people like yourselves would be amazing. Anything, anything at all - $5 or $10 - the price of a Starbucks breakfast.
