Hello Everyone, I am Josh’s Aunt and Lilly’s Great Aunt.
Josh and Lilly are facing a stark reality when she awakens from an induced coma. We do not know what Lilly will remember from an ordinary Sunday with her mother Kassie which turned into the most heinous act of violence.
Kassie was stabbed to death in her home by a sociopathic ex, Lilly was stabbed 8 times and left for dead.
Lily at this moment is with her loving father Josh and facing her second surgery. We are remaining positive and hopeful for Lilly’s recovery but a future without Kassie seems bleak. Josh is left with the heavy task of building a loving supportive home. Lilly’s family is incredible and supportive but ultimately Josh will be the primary caregiver of a child that has suffered the worst tragedy imaginable.
We are moved and grateful for the continued support expressed by the community. Please continue to keep Lilly and Josh in your hearts. Any donations to their future are deeply appreciated. All proceeds will go directly to Josh and Lilly so they can establish a home together and seek out trauma therapy for Lilly.
Someday Josh and I will share with Lilly how a community of good, caring people came together and helped our princess warrior heal and recognize that love triumphed over evil. God Bless

1. Josh has full access to this gofundme page. Because of Covid he is the only one allowed visitation with Lilly thus he asked me to start this page in lieu of him.

3. Lilly and Josh are working towards establishing a home together and seeking trauma therapy and hopefully a Montessori school so she can participate in a smaller classroom setting.
