Hello everyone, Perla and myself (George) are setting up this GoFundMe because our son Nathaniel Contreras was born on April 11th and we were not expecting him until July. He is currently incubated in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and will be need of a lot of attention for weeks to come. Unfortunately, my girlfriend and I were in San Diego on a day trip and were not planning to have him here but the emergency didnt give us time to go back to our doctors in Ventura County. My girlfriend didn't feel any movement in the womb and we rushed to the hospital, where she had to undergo an emergency C-section and we are currently recovering here. Since we are originally from Ventura county and it is a 3 hour drive to San Diego, we are kindly asking for any help to pay for the expenses ahead. We don't have family in San Diego and would like to arrange hotel stays/transportation to be near our son as much as possible. Nathaniel is expected to be hospitalized and incubated for the next 3 months in the NICU. Meanwhile, I will be returning to work intermittently, while Perla heals and makes overnight stays/daily drives to be as present and close to our son. Nathaniel is our first child and he's all we have. We really need any help anyone can give.
