On Thursday afternoon November 12th, Alex Webb from Williamstown, WV was involved in a horrific car crash and we are so thankful that he is alive. He was heroically pulled from the car by strangers at the scene just moments before it exploded. Many of you know Alex and have watched him grow up within the walls of the OHIO VALLEY ALLSTARS cheerleading gym in Parkersburg. He is a member of the Legendz team and is an awesome tumbler, teammate and friend. He also coaches at the gym and is a mentor to many of the younger athletes.
After the accident on Thursday, Alex was air lifted to Ohio State University medical complex. He has went thru two surgeries at this time and then was transferred from the trauma unit to the burn unit to begin treatment. He is scheduled for additional surgery on Monday, November 16 to begin skin grafts.
Many people have asked us how they can help. At this point Alex's grandmother will have the brunt of the expenses. We are asking for donations so that Sara can travel back and forth from Williamstown and have gas and food expense money, hotel expenses, car rental and deductable for replacement for her car, etc. We are just wanting the money part to not be a issue.
Alex is a freshman at WVU - Parkersburg campus. He is a avid soccer player as well. ALL the younger kids look up to him and EVERYONE can't wait to see his LAST PASS on the floor at competition.
