Hi my name is Casey Stark and from NYC.  I am supposed to be starting college this January at Loyola University in New Orleans on almost a full ride scholarship due to my academic achievements. However, I was just informed today that they want an extra $8,000 for room and board this semester and if I don't come up with the money, "I should just drop out." My parents are unable to pay for this, so I’m starting this campaign to seek out help. I am entering college as an Environmental Science major and was looking forward to it being in New Orleans as there is so much to be done here. Pursuing these studies and learning how to apply them in New Orleans would give me the experience I need to try and make the change that this world needs. I've always had a great work ethic, I got my first job when I was 13 and soon started putting aside money for college. Although that helps, it still isn't nearly enough to pay for Loyola. I would greatly appreciate anything anybody could do to help out. I understand that college in the U.S is inaccessible to many, not just myself, but I would hate to waste such an amazing opportunity because of this latest roadblock.
