Update: Hi all. Just an update. Rudolf is doing very well. We got good news as his mass came back as a benign lesion that has been completely removed. We are now fully focussed on his recovery. We still have a long way to go but with all the support we have recieved anything is possible. Thank you again. Rudolf.

Hi all, the Oosthuizen family's lives have been turned upside down this week. After getting a knock on the head at school, their eldest, Rudolf, was diagnosed with a brain mass. He went in for emergency surgery on Monday to place a stent in order to drain the excess fluid on the brain, and had the big operation to remove the tumour and associated cyst on Thursday.

As you can imagine, no parent wants to leave their child's bedside during a time like this, so if you are able, any donations would be greatly appreciated. The money will go directly towards any therapy and medical bills for Rudolf, household bills and basically anything else that needs to be taken care of while Rudolf tackles the long road of recovery.

We also ask for everyone to keep them in your prayers during this difficult time.
