Support OT Research in Ethiopia
Donation protected
My classmates and I, are Occupational Therapy graduate students at Stanbridge College in Irvine, CA. As future Occupational Therapist, we are researching is to investigate the meaningful occupations and experiences beyond play among Ethiopian children ages ten to sixteen with intellectual disabilities in their schools, homes, and communities.
Our 2-week research project includes providing cameras to children to collect data and interpret their experiences from the photos we receive. Our study will add a new perspective to literature for occupational therapists (and those from other professions) around the world by utilizing this method with children with intellectual disabilities in developing nations.
To continue our research, we need funds for travel, equipment (disposable cameras), and translators.
Any contribution will help. Thank you!
