Hello everyone!
So as you know on Monday 9/7 Christine started experiencing a heart attack and was quickly rushed to the hospital in Big Bear for her chest pains. Shortly after they decided that her condition was far worse than they had originally thought. They decided to life flight her to Loma Linda to get her the help she needed. The doctors took over from there and placed a stint in her artery to help with blood flow and removed a very large clot. Later that night she took a turn for the worst, which resulted in life saving measures to restart her heart and bring her back to us. She is in the cardiac ICU at Loma Linda doing her best to get better. She is getting better every day and we are hopeful that she will be able to leave the hospital and continue her recovery from home. The doctors say that she is slowly getting better and they are hopeful they will be able to start taking her off of the medicines very soon.
Christine is such a light in our lives and we hope that she is in yours as well. We couldn't imagine a life without her and her (amazing) loud voice! We are still staying as positive as we possibly can and sending all of our good vibes and thoughts to her and her recovery.
This is a tough thing for us to do but as you know how expensive hospital stays can be, we are asking for some help with the overwhelming bills that will be soon to come. Because of the circumstances with the emergency intervention and the life flight to the hospital we have become stretched quite thin. Anything helps, and if you cant donate we please just ask that you keep her in your thoughts and stay hopeful that her road to recovery is quick and painless.
Thank you all so much for your concern and we will try to keep this page updated with any new information we receive :)
