Help Rachel Rebuild After Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
Hey all my name is Anita and my dear friend Rachel Fairburn was tragically struck hard by hurricane Helene. I feel so helpless being all the way in Spokane Washington so I spoke with her and she agreed to let me do a go fund me for her. Her garage and car are a total loss and several walls in her home are busted down. Leaving her trying to put tarps and makeshift doors/walls to stay dry and as warm as possible temporarily.
She has no power just barely able to charge her phone every so often. Unfortunately she isn’t able to work because her work was affected as well. Homeowners insurance always drags their feet as long as possible with assistance.
I know times are tough for everyone right now but even if you could skip a coffee and donate that to her that would be so incredibly helpful and appreciated. All funds will go towards keeping her with food and water, to help put up walls so she is safe, she gets back to work, and keep her surviving until insurance covers the more permanent fixtures. This has been an extremely rough few days so much stress and stuff to take in. Above all things we are so incredibly thankful that Rachel is safe. Thing’s although stressful and very sad are replaceable but she is one of a kind and irreplaceable. Thanks so much to all who can help!
Edit! Rachel has been having so many amazing people help her and in return she is hoping to use the funds to help others in her community because that’s just the amazing woman she is. Those who have helped by checking in on her, local neighbors and friends helping with clean up and food place to charge her phone, financially, and so much more are true hero’s. Life is hard but when tragedy arises I’m so thankful for amazing people all over the country ready to jump in and help however they can! I know she is extremely grateful too and overwhelmed with the kindness in people’s hearts.
