Lee Roy you going down!

On March 22 2025 Our beautiful dear friend Amber Marwicks world was turned upside down. After spending the day in Toronto, she began feeling unwell. On the way home, they stopped at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital in Orillia to get her checked out. An MRI revealed something no one could’ve expected — a brain tumor, now known as Mr. Lee Roy, had been quietly invading her right temporal lobe.

Lee Roy had been causing Amber migraines, dizziness, and some memory loss. She was immediately transferred to Sunnybrook, where she spent seven difficult days awaiting surgery. Doctors were able to remove part of the tumor, but Lee Roy proved to be stubborn and deeply embedded.

Amber now faces six weeks of chemotherapy and radiation treatment in Toronto. She is a single mother of two, a homeowner, and truly one of the kindest, most resilient souls you could ever meet.

Now is the time for us to rally together. Let’s show Amber that she’s not alone in this fight. Let’s lift her up and surround her with the love, strength, and support she so deeply deserves — every act of kindness matters.
