On March 26th my mom was diagnosed with Stage 3 Cancer and Im trying to do everything I can to help her fight it. It’s a very rare (1 out of 2 million), aggressive appendix cancer called Goblet Cell Carcinoid that actually consists of two different type of cancer cells, neuroendocrine and epithelial.
In addition to the medical expenses being so high my mom recently started care-giving for my 90 year old grandpa, two dogs, and three cats. With her being sick and starting treatment she’s barely in a position to take care of herself, yet alone her elderly dad and 5 animals.
With that being said, she’s in desperate need of help, and I got a one way from Los Angeles to Atlanta to help attend to those matters. And with my grandpa being 90 and my mom being very sick, their house became difficult maintaining. The condition of the house is in no way shape or form suitable for someone fighting cancer, or anyone for that matter. I need my mom to be in a clean, healthy environment in order to fight this, and I’ve been tackling as many things as I can by myself, but my sister and I are honestly in desperate need of help. She’s in desperate need of help.
She will be receiving treatment at Emory but with out insurance the medical bills won’t be generous.
I would ideally like to raise $40,000 to put towards her medical expenses, $7000 to put towards important home repairs, such as removing black mold and soiled carpets, fixing the AC unit, plumbing issues, etc., and the other $3000 put towards her general health (nutritionist, diet, physical therapy, etc.).
Words can’t describe how grateful I am for your help. My mom has been through so many struggles and fights in her life, and has always overcome them, and always stayed positive. And for that reason, she’s my hero.
