At the beginning and close of each day, Mr. Bonner continues to stand at the location God had placed on his heart for the past few months: at the intersection at Five Points in Cottondale, Alabama.
He holds a simple sign with a powerful message that proclaims 'Jesus Will Save You.' He smiles and waves at each of the honking cars as they pass by. No one who stops by remains a stranger very long after spending a few minutes with Mr. Bonner. He's warm and welcoming to all.
He doesn't faithfully hold his sign for money and although he's planning a missions trip to the Philippines in the very near future, he is quick to clarify that those two ministries are completely unrelated.
The testament of his faith in God and belief in Jesus Christ is evident in path he's beaten in the grass at the intersection.
Although his shoes are falling apart, Mr. Bonner is quick to share how good God has been to him and how his needs are all met.
