Lorrie Abbott is a dear friend and huge supportor of the community. Last week she was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer, she will be having surgery next week and then ongoing treatment for several months. During this time she will be unable to work and as a self employed businesswoman she will not receive pay or sick leave during this time.
She has helped so many others who have been in need. She has seen the opportunity to help and always jumps right in to organize the silent auctons, provide meals and go above and beyond to make sure others are supported. Her care for her friends and community has been so inspiring to see. It's now our turn to support her!
The money raised will go directly to Lorrie to help cover the expenses during this time. Our goal is to raise $10,000 by the end of July or sooner!
Each time I have been in need of physical and moral support, Lorrie has always been there and I have personally seen her do this for so many others.
