On June 27, the Davis Family was hit by a woman who was reported to be running from police after stealing a vehicle at gun point. The Davis Family was sitting at a red light when they were hit from behind. They were hit not only once but twice. The entire family was sent to the hospital. Wendy, the mom and  driver of the car has a punctured lung,  which later collapsed. Jimmy, the father, had a broken leg, hip, and pelvis. The oldest son, Ernest, has several bruises. The youngest son Jakam, has a fractured ankle and several bruises. The middle son suffered brain damage, a broken leg, fractured neck, as well severe bruising and swelling. And, after being on life support for four days his organs began to fail causing his tragic death.
