Thanks to everyone for your continued support. Your generosity is appreciated.
Internal Revenue (IRS) requested additional information from “Coffee”. He has provided the requested information and should receive a response within the next two weeks.
All donations are still in the GoFundMe account. We are still looking for an Accountant/Bookkeeper and a Lawyer to help him in his transition to reopen the Sweet Shop. Looking forward to a successful reopening of the Sweet Shop with in early May.

To reopen this Black Owned Business that has been closed for the pass 6 months due financial hardship. This business has been in Mt. Pleasant “Old Village” since 1945. The community has been very supportive and very generous in their support. It is an honor to be a part of this community. Thank you for your generosity. It is appreciated. For the past 75 years, “The Sweet Shop” has been a land mark and a pillow in the community. It will be great to see the “The Sweet Shop” back in business. The Facebook page provides a history of the business. Too prevent a recurrence of this current situation, accounting assistance will be provided.

SC State tax commission. $ 12,650.00.
Bookkeeping. 1,000.00
Reopening cost. 1,000.00
