Hello. My name is Victor Ruiz. I am friends with Moises Cortes Cruz. Moises passed away due to a stroke on the seventh of April, after fighting for his life for seven days at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Moises was born on September 4th, 1964 in Hidalgo, Mexico. My friend was a very noble man with a big heart. He was characterized by his willingness to help others even if they were strangers. He spent close to 21 years working in the United States to help his family in Mexico. He spent that exact amount of time without seeing them once. We are trying to raise money to give him a dignified departure. This money will help us cover the funeral costs and dispatch of his body back home to his family in Mexico.
