Joshua "Caleb" Velasquez is my beautiful son who was born on November 12th, 2024. Caleb was a bright light in my life, a sweet, joyful baby whose spirit and smiles touched everyone around him. From the moment he entered the world, Caleb needed to be hospitalized but defied the odds and brought immense joy to us as his family and everyone who was lucky enough to care for him in the NICU.

Caleb unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday August 27th 2025 at just 9-months old.

We now, as his family, face the heartbreaking task of bringing Caleb back to Honduras, where his roots and family await. This journey, while deeply meaningful, comes with significant financial challenges.

We are working with a funeral home to help us get Caleb back to Honduras. We are raising funds to ensure that Caleb can be laid to rest with the love and dignity he deserves. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact and help ease our burden. We are hoping to raise $10,000 to cover all the expenses related to his funeral and transport. Any extra money raised will go towards providing our family with extra comfort and financial relief.
