January 9, 2021 is the day that Amanda was confronted with earth shattering news- Amanda learned that she would not only be facing the battle OF her life, but the battle FOR her life as she was diagnosed with stage 4 Adenocarcinoma Stomach Cancer that is inoperable.
People that know Amanda would describe her as caring, generous, loyal, authentic, compassionate, and now- incredibly courageous! Amanda is rarely seen without a smile on her face, or producing a contagious laugh. She loves her family and friends with her whole being! Although she has received a prognosis of 12-18 months- a prognosis that would devastate the average person- she is still found with a smile on her face, pushing forward, searching for alternative treatments, and preparing for the future.
Currently, Amanda is undergoing palliative chemotherapy and is no longer working in the career that she loves and excels in. We do not want Amanda to fight this financial, physical, and emotional battle alone, as her focus should be towards remaining strong in this fight for life, as well enjoying the remainder of her life with her children and family.
We truly appreciate each donation, prayer and kind words❤️God bless each and every one of you!! Thank you!
