The love of my life, my wife, she...who was my gravity, air, light, salvation, muse, teacher and soul mate suddenly departed from this world at 2am, Wednesday morning on June 22nd, 2016.
For thirty years...we never got bored with one another. We always had something to talk about and shared many mutual interests. We had a profound love and respect for one another like no other that many did not understand. We were best friends. Elizabeth fascinated me, stimulated my mind, broadened my horizons, challenged me to be a better human being, showed me better ways to be and how to love without judgment. When no one else would, she believed in me and encouraged me to follow my dreams. She was my life partner, my "cinnamon girl", my fellow adventurer and constant companion. We were inseparable. Elizabeth never had a bad thing to say about anyone even if it was merited...even if they had "hurt" her. She always looked for the good in people. Elizabeth was an angel and there were times that I didn't deserve her. She loved me for who I was and I loved her for what I wished I could be...I will always love and admired her deeply. How could I not? That thirty years had passed so painlessly and quickly is a true testament to our compatibility.
In the event of her untimely death, It was her wish to be cremated and have her ashes spread out over the coast of Big Sur, California... the place she loved more than any other place in this world.
My name is Chris Cyr, the the husband of Elizabeth and organizer of this campaign. I'm an artist, craftsman and photographer. Elizabeth and I traveled this world for 30 years together. She's always been by my side during these endeavors and was not only the love of my life but was my greatest supporter...my muse. She's been with me during everything I've ever created. Most recently, photographs. When this campaign has been fulfilled, I will chronical this trip through images seen through my eyes. You...the donor will be able to follow me on this journey on social media. It will be our last adventure together.
Please help me bring this love story to it's proper conclusion. Please help me bring Elizabeth home.
