Aaron's trip with his family

My name is Chelsea, I and my husband have had the privilege of getting to know Aaron, his wife Shawna, and their five beautiful children this past year. They are two of the most compassionate and selfless people I have ever met and cannot imagine the stress that they deal with daily. Most people who know Aaron are familiar with his dedication to family and friends, but may not be aware that he is diagnosed with Anaplastic Astrocytoma Grade 3, or terminal brain cancer. I believe Aaron is too proud of a man to ask others for help and often is unwilling to burden others with his struggles, therefore I feel compelled to do something for him on his behalf. A little about Aaron for those that don’t know him; prior to his diagnosis he ran a daycare center, which truly symbolized his passion for kindness and giving to others in his community. Unfortunately, after his diagnosis he began suffering from seizures which left him unable to continue working. This void has further exacerbated a difficult situation, causing even more devastation to him and his family. Despite his declining health, dampened spirits, and loss of income he continues on with a positive attitude, solely for the sake of his family.



I am asking for family, friends, and whomever this may reach who love and support Aaron to please donate and help us raise enough money to fund one final family vacation for this struggling couple. Aaron and Shawna deserve more than what life has thrown at them lately and words cannot describe how meaningful one last family trip would be. Having abruptly lost my own father as a teenager, I can attest to the importance of having positive long lasting memories of loved ones to look back on. They do not have the financial means to do this for themselves nor did they ask me to do this for them. I am merely a concerned friend of the family who is trying to make a difference, albeit a small one when you consider what they are up against.



If you or anyone you know is willing to help them achieve a lasting memory for their children, please do so quickly. Aaron’s health continues to decline and time is certainly a factor as they consider possible vacation options in the near future.
