Making Memories with Mom
Donation protected
Jessica Zaback has been my best friend for nearly 40 years. We have always supported each other when needed and now is one of those times. I am here to ask for your help on behalf of Jessica and her family.
Jessica was diagnosed in May of 2012 with breast cancer. Two and a half years later, it spread via her bloodstream to a few places in her bones. Since December of 2014, Jessica has endured times when her cancer was stable, being managed with medications, to times when it would grow and she would have to change treatment plans. Recently it started to grow again and a new treatment is being tried. As of today, the new treatment is working. I pray it continues to work until a cure is found.
Since we were little kids playing on the play ground in elementary school, I have been in awe of her confidence, determination, humour and beauty. I want so much to be able to give her the gift of time. I can not do that, but I think we can all help make some of her dreams come true, if you and I donate to her cause.
Jessica has a wonderful husband, Chad, who has been by her side since high school. Together, they have two beautiful boys, Logan (13) and Asher (10). I have never met a more fun-loving mom, than Jessica. Her boys adore her.
What Jessica and her family wish for the most, is making memories together. Jessica has a wish list and I think if each one of us donates and shares her story, we could make all of these wishes become a reality.
Here are a few of her wishes:
*Family cruise
*Snowboarding in the mountains for the boys
*Hawaiian wedding anniversary vacation with Chad
*Airfare to Malaysia to visit me
*Massage maintenance
*House cleaner
Together, we can all help Jessica and her boys experience these wishes and magical memories will follow.
As the funds are raised I will keep you all posted on what they have planned with photos and maybe some videos too.
For those of you who would like to know more about Jessica's personal journey with cancer, you can follow her on her Caringbridge site (link below) . It is very important for you to know, her children know only what they need to know. She is and always has, lived her life as normally as possible and continues to wish to do so. Let us all be positive with her and celebrate life.
