As you may or may not know, Alicia was hit with some pretty bad flooding in West Virginia and her home was severely impacted. Lets cheer her up to remind her that we are thinking about her and cheer her up. Her entire crawlspace was flooded and the entire 1st floor was up to 4 feet of water. While it’s all replaceable and Alicia is safe, I know I would require enormous amounts of wine to get through the clean-up. I'm sure her expenses have added up and any amount will help her in everything she needs to replace.
Go fund me requirements for transparency:
1. Who you are and where you’re from - Sarah Simon, on behalf of the KPMG community
2. Your relationship or contact to the parties you're raising funds for - Alicia is a wonderful colleague of ours that we want to support so she can get back to work and not stress about her house, so every little bit we raise will help her finish her projects that the storm created for her.
3. How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible) - We hope Alicia can use the money we have raised to pay for the damage that insurance will not cover. Or if she needs to buy some wine to mentally get through it :)
4. Your withdrawal plan to get the funds from the campaign to the ultimate beneficiary/ies - The plan is to show this to Alicia as soon as she is back to work onsite at McDonald's and I (Sarah Simon), will walk her through the site to get her account number added. She is scheduled to come back to work on July 11th.
