Ava Skye,  born on December 10th, 2015 sent to her home above the night of April 19th, 2016. Tragedy. It's a word people hear way too often. When we think of different tragedies of course we think of how messed up it would be to live through it or how messed up people can be. We never really know the reality or the feeling until it happens though. Tragedies can happen at any given time. It's horrible to say but it's the truth. The pain and heart ache that comes with it is so surreal. Feels like a nightmare that you can't wake up from. You try and try but then realize it's a horrible reality that you can't escape. You see all these stupid challenges on Facebook or YouTube for entertainment. I'm starting a new challenge. Something that shouldn't be a challenge but maybe you work so much or have so much going on that maybe you don't do it as much as you'd want. Maybe the day is just going as it goes and you're focus it on what needs to get done around the house or whatever the situation. Just stop even for a few minutes, seconds, as long as you want and just hug and hold your baby, child, teen, even if they're an adult. It doesn't matter. But hold them and let them know how much you love them and how much they mean to you. Stop and think how precious they are. How much of a role they play in your life. As parents, we all know that our children mean everything to us and there is that unconditional love. But just take a moment. Tragedy is all around us in our everyday life and we never realize until a tragedy happens to us and to our families. Losing a child is the worst thing in the world. Or some of the decisions that have to be made with it all. As a parent, it's the worst feeling in the world.
