Tyler's Grit Freedom Chair Forward
Donation protected

Hello, my name is Tyler Rich, and I have Cerebral Palsy, specifically Spastic Diplegia. From June 23th-26th 2016 I had the good fortune of attending the No Barriers Summit in Copper Mountain Colorado on a scholarship. During the summit I was lucky enough to try out the Grit Freedom Chair, over the course of a two mile mountain ascent. I knew immediately that this chair would change my life. It allowed me to traverse terrain I never thought possible with any other mobility device. As capable as my everyday device is, (a specially modified Segway PT) there is no way it would've made it up the mountain. That aside, this chair will allow me to traverse snow and ice, without worry of range anxiety or equipment faliure, unlike my Segway. Unfortunately, my insurance won't cover this chair, which is why I'm turning to you for help. The Freedom Chair Forward will allow me to traverse mountains, due to its unique lever drive system, while still mitigating shock and stress on my body thanks to its in wheel suspension. By making a donation, you will be helping me to realize my dreams of going anywhere I need to, and enjoying all that the outdoors have to offer.
Thank you for your time.
