Mica's Lung Cancer Benefit

My name is Lori Harvey.  Sheila Petty and I are working to raise funds to help our dear friend in her time of need.  
Mica Cathey was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Left Lung in February 2016.  She has since been undergoing Chemotherapy every three weeks.  On July 8th we will be meeting with the surgeon to schedule surgery.  They will remove her entire left lung.   We have a long road ahead of us but we will be beside Mica every step of the way.  We are looking for funds to help us get her through this difficult time.  Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.  

Mica has lost several family members to cancer including her mother, brother and grandmother. She does not have a lot of family to help her through this battle she is fighting.  She is a single mother to Haven, who is a recent graduate from Robinson High School and will attend college in the Fall.

These funds will help with living expenses, dr. visits, everyday care during and after surgery and Haven with college expenses.
