Mother's Surgery Gone Wrong

Hi, my name is Chantal Fecteau. I am a 19 year old girl from Dallas, Texas. It's not like me to do this sort of thing, but at this point, I really have no other choice. I am super hard-working, just like my mother. Growing up, my mom always did everything in her power to provide for my little sister and I. She also managed to graduate with her master's degree, and now does what she loves to do most: teach.
One thing that my mom has taught me, is to never give up on my passions, no matter how crazy they may seem. She is a shining light to not only me, but to all of her students and friends, as well. She has always believed in me, even if some of my ideas may have sounded ridiculous. Just like she has always supported me, I also support her and her ideas as well.
When my mom decided to get cosmetic surgery, I was a little iffy about the idea, but she was set on getting her extra weight removed from her belly. Since she is always working and did online courses for so many years, she was never able to lose the weight. She did extensive research and went to several consultations, so that made me feel a little better. The day of her surgery, I was nervous, but I trusted that everything would turn out okay. She saved up the money needed, and was ready to follow through with the procedure. She went to Mexico to get the surgery done, because cosmetic procedures there are a fraction of the price of what they would be in the U.S.
I stayed at home to work, and I let my mom know that I would take care of everything and let her focus on her big day. A couple of days later, I finally received news from my aunt that was with her. My mother wasn't feeling well, and had to be rushed to Intensive Care just 2 days after the procedure. The doctor had accidentally punctured a hole in one of her intestines, and stitched her back up too tightly.
My mom wasn't able to eat and couldn't breathe properly. I thought she was going to die. All I could think about was my little sister and my baby nephew, and how I will have to step up and be the new head of my household. May I remind you, I'm only 19. Most people my age only have to worry about getting through school, if that. She had to go through several blood transfusions, and on top of that she started having liquid filling up in one of her lungs.
Today, I was finally able to speak to her. She told me that she would not be able to leave until she paid all of the hospital fees. A whopping $168,000 pesos, which is over $9,000 USD. I'm going to be completely honest with ya'll, I am freaking out. I wish I could just have her back here in Dallas, but in the condition she's in, it's extremely dangerous for her to travel.
I want to have her back home as soon as possible, but I can't do this alone. To whoever that is reading this: I appreciate you. Even just your time means so much to me, but I would also like to ask for any aid that you can offer.
If you’re religious, prayers would be awesome. Sharing this post will also help tremendously! I never thought anything like this would have ever happened to my family. I am so outraged and upset. Please help me in bringing my mom home!!
Thank you.
