Baby Ryan “RJ” was born on February 18, 2021 to Ryan and Jamie Engels. Immediately after he was born he wasn’t breathing and was transported to John Hopkins-All Children’s hospital. He was diagnosed with Esophageal Atresia (EA) and TracheoEsophageal Atresia (TEF) which means his trachea didn’t connect to his Esophagus. RJ has been in the NICU since birth and has undergone multiple surgeries and procedures. He is such a little fighter through everything. We are hopeful that he will finally get to go home at the end of April, but he will continue to need procedures to keep his airway open throughout his life.
The money raised will help cover his NICU medical expenses and provide financial help to Ryan and Jamie.
