Ashleigh Davies and Phillip Warr started their romance back in Admiral 2013 when Ashleigh first started in the company. When someone says “they are made for each other” they must have met Ashleigh and Phill. I have never met a couple with such big hearts and lovable personalities, devoted to each other through thick and thin with a combined length of service of over 8yrs, they certainly have a place in the heart of the whole department.
Unfortunately, back in June 2015 Phill was diagnosed with Leukaemia and went through a series radiotherapy and chemotherapy 3 times. Eventually a successful bone marrow transplant from his sister meant that they could both look forward in their future together on his road to recovery.
Things were looking up for both Phill and Ashleigh and they were starting make plans together preparing to get married and have a family with Phill planning to return back to work this month.
Plans were then halted when Phill had the news that he now had lymphoma and would need to go through another series of chemotherapy. This was devastating news!
Ashleigh and Phill have managed to stick together through thick and thin and will continue to do so to fight this, as he’s done it before, but money has been tight as you’d expect in these types of situations and we’d like to be able to give them their dream wish of getting married.
