St Anthony Padua provides daily nourishment to the needy in the Redwood City, Menlo Park and Atherton areas.  Located off Middlefield road, volunteers serve hot meals and provides other daily nutrition to over 300 people 365 days a year.   Volunteers from all walks of life and multiple religous organizations work with afew chefs to prepare and serve the meals.

Vegetables, breads and fruits are often donated by grocery stores.  Meat and kitchen materials need to be purchased.

All donations will be provided directly to the kitchen staff and used to purchase non-donated food.

No one is ever turned away.  Young or old, all are provided a meal when none can be found due to life's downturns, illnesses and other hardships-either periodic or long term.  All are provided as much as they need and are treated with dignity and respect.

I feel strongly that charity begins at home.  The diners here are our neighbors and service to these within our midst.  Our life's objectives are to do unto others as we would have them do for us, as well as care and love our neighbors as ourselves.
