Perhaps one of the hardest things to do is to reach out for help, but when one stands at the fork in the crossroad and must choose which path to take, there is a clarity as never before, when the hour comes that you know from the depths of your heart, the precise place you must be. This is the place that Emily and Jeremiah now find themselves as they must contemplate the days, the weeks, and months ahead. What has become most clear for them is that they will do whatever it takes to travel this journey side by side with their precious son, Yadin, who will come into this world in just a few short weeks. At that exact moment, Yadin will be in the fight for his life. Literally, he will not have the ability to take one full breath for himself, when upon his birth he will have the first of what will be several life-saving surgeries. I come to petition on behalf of these brave parents and their precious son, Yadin, for this is a journey they undoubtedly know they could not make if they were to contemplate traveling this path alone.
Incredibly, already there has been what seems a flock of angels, all gathering by their side, offering their unwavering love and faithful prayers. It is truly heart touching to see the outpouring of love and faith expressed for this little family who is loved so very much by so many. It is my earnest hope that with such a tremendous response already, that it is evidence of the love and support that will continue to follow them in the long road ahead, as there are still so many unknowns. I often find myself trying to add it all up in my mind, trying to contemplate the width and the depth of every need…and every time I have come to the same conclusion, all of these unknowns must all be released prayerfully into God’s almighty hands. This is also where we are reminded that God did not intend for any one of us to go through this life alone.
While Emily and Jeremiah are in St. Petersburg for Yadin’s birth and for the several months following his surgeries and recovery, they will still need to cover expenses to ensure they will have their home to return to. In addition, they will need to make provisions for their daily living expenses at Ronald McDonald House, food, gas, and basic minimal necessities. Although we are working vigorously to raise funds to sustain them through this time, with the sale of Yadin’s CDH Awareness bands and Emily’s beautiful handmade treasures, as well as upcoming yard sales, we are continually reminded of how they could not make it without the support of others who also have a heart for this precious family.
We are so humbled as we stand together in faith, believing for all of the miracles yet to come. We are ever grateful for those who continue to be vessels of selfless love, so eager to make themselves available in being a part of making the provisions that could otherwise be lack. Not only will you be a part of making it possible for them to be by Yadin’s side for his brave fight, but you will also witness miracles, I am already certain too many to count, that are going to unfold in the weeks, the months and the many victorious years still ahead. Mere words could not suffice to express how deeply grateful we are. May God bless each and every one of you!
