Cremation and Memorial for Josh Seck

As you all know by now, our dear friend, Josh passed away recently. His family is not having a funeral. Chris and I will be having a memorial when we get his ashes back where they belong. In Michigan. Josh was estranged from his family, but his siblings and parents are going to contribute to this cause. If we had not found out in time, and done the investigating that we did, Josh would have been buried  in "paupers grave", which is a grave in a cemetery with others whose families have not claimed them. We need $800 just to cremate him, and  fly his ashes home from Brooklyn, where he was living at the time.  If you ever knew, or loved Josh, please help us do this for him.  Any money that is raised above the amount it takes to bring him back to Michigan, and give him a proper send off, I will donate either to the homeless shelter Josh lived in for a while in Brooklyn, or a mental health and addiction charity, or try and find a grave for him...but Im not sure Josh would want to be in a grave...we will need to buy an urn though. Because I believe his ashes are coming back in a box. Also, I just learned that go fund me charges 5% of the total, and a small percentage of each donation.
