Darren Black Jr. Recovery Fund

Greetings, On behalf on my son Darren who was diagnosed at birth with Congential Muscular Myopathy he was hospitalized about three weeks ago for plural effusion and pancreatitis . Since birth the doctors wrote him off and said he wasn't gonna make it to see six months BUT with the love of family and the power of God he's now ten years old. He's had some struggles but he was always able to push through. About 3 months ago he had a broken fumer bone in which it broken by his home health care provider . It left him in a position of not being able to attend school for the last four weeks and being home bound. Needless to say that left me in a position to be his primary care provider. During that time he was complaining of stomach pain. I later found out he had pancreatitis after being hospitalized and transferred to Wolfsons Children's Hospital in Jacksonville where he's now receiving care. This has been a long journey and my paid leave from my job is about to run out. I'm seeking assistance to provide the best care for my son and to be able to commute back to Tallahassee in case I may have to return for work in the near future!!
